KCS Respite Services

For The Love of Seniors

Support and Relief are here for our Seniors!

Loving your family member is no small accomplishment.  We at “KCS” know how you’ve had to sacrifice for your loved one.  We are here to support you and give you relief. Our Care Coordinators offer that support, allowing you to have the freedom to run errands, see a friend or accomplish a goal you need to accomplish.  Keeping Communities Safe (KCS) is here to assure that your loved one is safe allowing your mind, the peace it needs, essential vacation—even if it’s only a few hours each week.

Why Respite?

Being the only one to watch over your loved one 24/7 can begin to wear on your physical and mental health. You may find yourself:

  • Not getting the proper rest you deserve
  • Not feeling well.
  • Not eating properly

When you have all these responsibilities to take care of you and a family member resentment can build, triggering the family member to take out their aggravation on the client. KCS will do its best to make certain this doesn’t occur.

Our professional Care Coordinators cater to the family member’s mental and physical well-being. And when the family member is healthy, the client remains healthy, too.

Respite will:

  • Prevent the possibilities of resentment.
  • Allow you to feel recharged and refocused when you return.
  • Offer relief, downtime, and peace.

How Respite Works

Depending on your needs, as well as those of your loved one, a respite worker will come to your home to pick up your loved one for a few hours. These visits could be once a week, or three times per week. Based on the need, your loved one will receive self-esteem building, recreation, life skills, grocery store runs, pampering days, field trips, doctor visits, advocacy, and more. Our goals are to make them comfortable, happy, and full of life!  While the respite Care Coordinator tends to your loved one, you have the time you need to get your errands ran, and goals accomplished. The point is, this is your time to get the proper rest you deserve and recharge.
